GOP offers Book Writing and Development, Publishing Packages, From Pulpit to Page, Rebrand Your Book, Individual Services, and Memoir Services. Depending on the written scope, GOP can assist with story development, writing, editing, quality control, cover and interior preparation, paperback, hardcover and eBook formatting, ISBN and metadata support, and Amazon KDP upload. Every accepted project is governed by a written proposal or agreement.

Is Great One Publishing a traditional or self-publishing company?

Great One Publishing is an independent Christian publishing-services company that supports author-controlled publishing. GOP does not operate as a traditional publisher that acquires a client's rights or pays an advance.The client owns the book, approves publication, controls the publishing account, and keeps the royalties paid by the platform, subject to platform deductions and third-party costs.

Do you work with all authors who inquire?

No. GOP reviews each digital interest survey for mission, project type, scope, timing, and working fit. GOP may accept the project, ask follow-up questions, recommend a different service, place the project on hold, or decline it.

Do you guarantee bestseller status or sales results?

Accepted Answer

No. GOP does not guarantee sales, bestseller status, rankings, reviews, media coverage, audience growth, income, or acceptance by Amazon or another platform. GOP promises only to perform the work stated in the written agreement with professional care. Results depend on many factors outside GOP's control.

Can you help with editing my manuscript?

Accepted Answer

Yes. GOP provides developmental editing, line editing, copyediting, proofreading, and final quality-control review when those services are included in the written proposal. The needed level of editing is determined after GOP reviews the manuscript or approved sample. Editing improves a manuscript, but no service can promise a completely error-free book.

Can I request changes after I approve my proof or authorize publication?

Yes, but later changes may affect the price and schedule. Before publication, a new or changed request must be documented and approved in writing. After publication, a correction may require revised files, a new proof, platform review, and possible third-party charges. GOP will explain the effect before completing additional work.

Will you manage my Amazon account for me?

Accepted Answer

GOP can guide account setup and perform approved formatting, metadata preparation, and upload support through the client's Amazon KDP account. The client keeps ownership and control of the account, login security, tax and banking information, retail-price approval, and final publication authorization. GOP does not take ownership of the client's account.

How long does the publishing process take?

The schedule depends on the condition and length of the manuscript or source material, the amount of writing and editing required, the number of formats, client response time, revisions, permissions, and platform review. After evaluating the project, GOP provides a written working schedule. Dates may change if the scope changes, approvals are delayed, or a platform requires corrections.

Do you offer payment plans?

A milestone payment schedule may be available when it is included in the written proposal. The proposal states the deposit, due dates, payment method, and the work tied to each payment. Work does not begin or continue beyond a payment milestone until the required payment has cleared.

Can I retain the rights to my book?

Yes. You retain ownership of your manuscript and approved book files, control your publishing account, approve publication, and keep 100% of the royalties paid to you by the platform. Platform deductions, printing costs, taxes, and third-party charges may still apply. You must own or have permission to use every manuscript, image, quotation, recording, and other item you provide.

GOP specializes in Christian nonfiction, including memoirs, testimonies, ministry and sermon-based books, devotionals, and purpose-driven message books. Other Christian book projects may be considered after GOP reviews the concept, materials, scope, and fit.

How much does it cost to publish with you?

Accepted Answer

Pricing depends on how much material already exists and the writing, editing, design, formatting, publishing, and support required.Publishing Packages currently start at $2,000. Memoir starting points are $3,500 for a complete-draft project, $6,500 for a notes-or-partial-draft project, and $10,000 for a memories-only project.These are starting prices for limited qualifying scopes, not final quotes. GOP provides a written proposal before work begins.

Do you offer marketing support for my book?

GOP may provide defined launch or promotional materials—such as a book trailer, author website, media kit, or graphics—when they are listed in the written proposal. Ongoing campaign management, advertising spend, sales results, rankings, reach, reviews, and income are not included unless expressly stated, and results are never guaranteed.

When included in the written scope, GOP can prepare paperback, hardcover, and eBook files and support publication through the client's Amazon KDP account. Availability depends on the selected formats, territories, retailer rules, distribution settings, and platform eligibility. GOP does not guarantee placement by a particular retailer or distributor.

What materials can GOP use to help develop my memoir?

Accepted Answer

GOP may use approved written questionnaires, interviews and audio recordings, existing drafts, timelines, photographs, journals, letters, emails, speeches, sermons, family records, public records, and other lawful source material. Not every client needs every source. You must own the material or have permission to provide and use it, and GOP will identify any item needing verification, privacy review, or publication permission.

How will I review and approve my book?

GOP provides review copies at the stages stated in the written project plan. The client reviews facts, privacy choices, voice, and requested changes and gives written approval before material is locked or publication is authorized. A later change must follow GOP's written change process and may affect price or schedule.

What happens after I submit an interest survey?

Accepted Answer

GOP reviews the survey for fit and may ask a small number of follow-up questions. If the project appears suitable, GOP invites the potential client to the next step. Detailed intake, source collection, pricing, contract, payment, and production begin only after the appropriate review and written authorization. An inquiry alone does not create a client relationship.
